I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. I attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where I received a BS in Chemistry. My first full time employment was as a research chemist at a pharmaceutical company in the Chicago area. Our team was conducting pioneer research on new drugs, specifically searching for a chemical that dissolved blood clots. This drug is currently on the market and the research I conducted while there has been published. I then started a family and looked for a way to blend both family and career. After moving to Denver, Colorado, I became certified as a secondary science teacher and taught at several area schools. My family prospered for the 23 years we lived in Denver. Upon relocating to Arizona 5 years ago, I decided it was safer to sell real estate then put out fires in the chem. lab. I have been a full time real estate professional in Metro Phoenix for close to 4 years. I am a certified relocation specialist and I received the "Best Team Player Award" after only 1 year in the business. I enjoy working with people and helping them with their real estate needs. I am excited to be a part of the Desert Realty Group with Platinum Premier Realty, LLC. However, I still have a deep affection for science education and I fill this need by volunteering at the Arizona Science Center regularly. I have the best of both worlds.
